The necropolis of Burdaga in Asuni (central Sardinia) consists of 17 rock-cut tombs carved into trachyte outcrops along the north-eastern edge of the village, dating to the Late Neolithic (3rd millennium BC). Split into two groups on a serpentine ridge overlooking the valley, some tombs preserve rare corniform carvings unique in the Sardinian funerary tradition. Free access.

The Civic Museum Giovanni Marongiu in Cabras is home to 11 of the Giants of Mont’e Prama — the oldest monumental sculptures in the Western Mediterranean, carved in limestone by the Nuragic civilization in the 8th–9th century BC. Warriors, archers and boxers over 2 meters tall. Allow 2–3 hours. Combined visit with Tharros recommended.
